The European Commission has issued a call for proposals to develop a pilot project that seeks to promote integration of Roma across the European Union.
Pilot Project: "Pan-European Coordination of Roma Integration Methods"
The European Commission - DG Regional Policy has issued a call for proposals to develop a pilot project approved by by the European Parliament that seeks to promote integration of Roma across the European Union.
The budget allocated is 5,000,000 euros.
The purpose of the call is to improve the pilot project of the European Parliament following a call for proposals that includes three independent separate themes corresponding to the following fields of intervention:
- Early childhood education and care- Self-employment and microcredit
- Information and awareness raising
Non-profit organizations, both NGOs and public bodies, interested in the call should submit their proposals by September 25, 2009 to the Directorate General for Regional Policy of the European Commission.
